| Q: | Will this lift work for me, when nothing else has? | | A: | The Valette is designed to raise and lower right to the bowl, and returning you back to a standing position. The entire unit raises with you and can stop at any height required for you. |

| Q: | Will it raise me high enough to stand (locking knees)? | | A: | The Valette is designed to suit your existing bowl height, without having to make any changes to your existing bowl. This allows for you to lock your knees, regain your balance, and stabilize yourself before leaving. |

| Q: | Is this covered under Medicare, Insurance, etc.? | | A: | This question is best answered as it depends. We ask everyone to contact their representative and inquire what their coverage is. We have been successful with Insurance, Vocational Rehab, as well as MDA paying for a portion of the cost. A letter from your doctor supporting this type of equipment is very beneficial. We will be pleased to contact the insurance on your behalf, if you provide us with the necessary information. |

| Q: | Will the lift interfere with the rest of the family's usage of the toilet? | | A: | The Valette can raise and lower to the bowl, which allows other to return it back to the top of the bowl. |

| Q: | What if I transfer from a wheelchair? | | A: | That is important for us to understand so that we can adjust the unit to adapt for your type of transfer. It is easier to transfer down then up. |

| Q: | I can no longer get myself up from the toilet bowl - it is either too high or too low. | | A: | The Valette can lower down to your existing bowl height, and return you back to your standing position. The lift can stop at any height required for your individual needs. |

| Q: | I need to brace my legs or I will fall. How will this work for me? | | A: | The Valette should be raised to just under your buttocks, allowing you to lean on the lift and lower down. Your knees will bend as the unit lowers to the bowl. There is no need to drop. |

| Q: | I have Caregiver assistance and it is very hard for them to try and lift me off the bowl. | | A: | The Papi-Lift can assist Caregivers, as the lift can be raised to a maximum of 34 3/4 inches. The lift requirement depends on the person's height and the existing bowl height. Raising the lift from the bowl allows for personal care maintaining proper hygiene. |

| Q: | I would like to be able to return to work, but the toilet there is too low for me. | | A: | The Valette can be installed at your place of work, using the existing water supply. The Valette does not interfere with individuals who do not require assistance to use the toilet. They can just lower the lift down to the bowl. It is always ready to use. |
